A man allegedly killed his wife, beheaded her and roamed the village of Korba carrying the severed head.
A video seen online shows the accused, who is a watchman at a poultry farm, stopping in the middle of the road to bring the head out of a gunny sack. He then held the head up in one hand and began roaming the village with it.
Villagers alerted police in India, who rushed to the spot and arrested him.
The couple lived with their four children at the farm.
Preliminary investigation points to frequent quarrels between the two.
The woman’s body has been sent for postmortem.
