Middle East War: Iran Can Reach Out for Talks – Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump has said Iran is free to initiate contact with the United States if it is interested in negotiating an end to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Speaking during an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Briefing, Trump noted that communication channels remain open for dialogue.

“If they want to talk, they can come to us or they can call us. You know there is a telephone. We have nice, secure lines,” he said.

Trump also expressed optimism that the conflict involving Iran could be resolved soon, adding that he expects the United States to emerge in a favorable position.

“Some of the people we are dealing with now in Iran are very reasonable, others are not. I hope Iran will be smart,” he stated.

Meanwhile, diplomatic engagements continue in the region. Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, recently held a telephone conversation with his Saudi Arabian counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, where both sides discussed recent developments and efforts toward de-escalation.

According to a statement shared via a Saudi Telegram channel, Araghchi outlined key aspects of the current situation, particularly issues surrounding a ceasefire, and briefed Saudi Arabia on Iran’s ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the conflict and easing regional tensions.
