Tension is rising in Osun politics as stakeholders from Ife-North have strongly demanded that the 2027 House of Representatives ticket be zoned to their area.
According to the coalition, Ife-North has faced decades of political exclusion despite its contributions to elections and the economy. They insist the move is about justice, fairness, and equal representation.
“This is not a plea—it’s a demand,” one of the leaders stated, emphasizing that the time for marginalisation is over.
The group also warned that they are ready to mobilize and take action if their demands are ignored.
