Ceasefire: We’re not likely to accept new Iran peace proposal – Trump

United States President Donald Trump has thrown away the possibility of accepting new Iran’s peace proposal.

Trump made this known in a post on his Truth Social on Saturday, stating that he would review a new Iranian peace proposal.

METROTIMESNIGERIA reports that negotiations between the two countries have not yielded positive fruits since a ceasefire came into effect on April 8.

Trump’s remark comes after Iran’s Tasnim and Fars news agencies reported that Tehran submitted a 14-point proposal to mediator Islamabad.

“I will soon be reviewing the plan that Iran has just sent to us, but can’t imagine that it would be acceptable in that they have not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done to Humanity, and the World, over the last 47 years,” Trump said.
