Prince Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election, has disowned a viral social media publication attributing a congratulatory message on the alleged appointment of Senator Emma Anosike to him.
Ukachukwu, in a disclaimer issued by his Special Adviser on Strategic Matters, Rt. Hon. Dr Timothy Ifedioranma, said the publication did not emanate from him and was not authorised by him.
According to the statement, Ukachukwu said he was neither aware of the purported appointment nor issued any congratulatory message, either publicly or privately, concerning it.
The statement urged members of the public to disregard the publication, describing it as false and misleading.
It alleged that the publication was the handiwork of individuals seeking to create confusion and score what it described as cheap political points.
The statement also clarified the relationship between Ukachukwu and Anosike, stressing that the two are friends and not political enemies.
“Prince Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu and Senator Emma Anosike are not political enemies; they are friends,” the statement said.
It added that the disclaimer was issued to dispel what it described as a false impression created by the alleged impersonation.
Ukachukwu, according to the statement, remains committed to the peace, unity, stability and progress of the APC in Anambra State.
“HE Ukachukwu is the leader of the party in the state. His role is simple – a fatherly role and not to take sides. Again, he is making frantic efforts with the NWC of the party to bring all factions under one roof,” Ifedioranma further explained.
