Young leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals have been urged to embrace Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies to boost productivity, drive innovation and achieve sustainable business growth.
The call was made at the August Business Meeting and Mentorship Session of UDUF Africa held in Onitsha, Anambra State, with the theme, “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Business Growth and Sustainable Success.”
The August Business Meeting emphasized the importance of embracing emerging technologies, investing in continuous learning, building meaningful professional relationships and remaining adaptable in a rapidly changing economy.
The sessions provided participants with practical insights into the application of AI in business operations, career development and professional activities.
Speaking on the theme, Software Engineer, AI Automation Expert, Technology Educator and Co-Lead of Google Developer Groups, Onitsha, Nwite Nwabueze Jeremiah, said AI was increasingly becoming an important tool for businesses and professionals seeking to remain competitive.
He challenged participants to move beyond conversations about AI and begin exploring practical ways of deploying the technology to automate tasks, improve efficiency, develop new products and strengthen their businesses.
His presentation generated extensive discussions as participants examined both the opportunities and challenges associated with the growing adoption of AI in the business environment.
The Continental President of UDUF Africa, Uchenna Christopher, urged members, popularly known as Uplifters, to take personal development, relationship building and service seriously.
“Look beyond your present circumstances and prepare yourselves for greater opportunities.
“Membership of UDUF Africa should translate into personal growth and positive impact on society,” he said.
Similarly, the Founder of UDUF Africa, Chinedu Smart Ezuma, cautioned members against complacency, saying achievements should provide a foundation for greater accomplishments.
Ezuma urged the Uplifters to continue learning, embrace technology, cultivate meaningful relationships and convert knowledge into practical results.
He also emphasised the importance of consistency, discipline and patience, noting that lasting success requires continuous improvement and a commitment to positively influencing the lives of others.
The programme also featured parliamentary engagement, interactive discussions, networking and mentorship, allowing entrepreneurs, professionals and other participants to exchange experiences and explore opportunities for collaboration.
The networking session further strengthened relationships among participants and created opportunities for professional and business connections.
Participants were encouraged to combine technical competence with effective leadership and use their achievements as platforms to create opportunities and positively impact their communities.
