The Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative, founded by the Anambra State First Lady, Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo, has announced a free one-month computer training programme for secondary school students and young people across the state.

The initiative said the programme was designed to equip participants with basic digital skills needed to navigate an increasingly technology-driven world and improve their prospects in education, employment and entrepreneurship.

According to the organisers, the training will commence on Monday, August 24, 2026, and hold three times weekly at the Healthy Living Complex, No. 6, Road 13, Udoka Housing Estate, Awka.

The free programme will focus on basic computer skills, with participants expected to acquire foundational knowledge and practical confidence in the use of computers.

The initiative said the programme was part of its broader commitment to youth empowerment through practical skills that can enhance personal development and create greater opportunities in the digital economy.

It noted that access to digital literacy has become increasingly important for young people, particularly as technology continues to influence education, employment, business and everyday life.

The training is expected to run for one month, with classes held three times every week.
