Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has congratulated the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor, on his 74th birthday, describing him as a respected spiritual leader whose decades of service have positively impacted the Church and society.

In a goodwill message issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the governor commended Bishop Ezeokafor’s lifelong dedication to the service of God and humanity through his priestly ministry.

Soludo noted that Bishop Ezeokafor, who was ordained a priest in 1984, served as Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese between 2007 and 2011 before becoming the substantive bishop of the diocese, where he has continued to provide pastoral leadership with distinction.

The governor described the cleric as “a living testimony of divine possibilities,” praising his commitment to peace, unity and development.

“His Lordship remains a respected spiritual father, a consistent advocate of peace, unity and development, and a steady moral voice whose leadership continues to enrich the faith community and the larger society in Anambra State and beyond,” Soludo said.

He prayed for God to grant the bishop good health, wisdom, strength and grace for many more years of impactful service to the Church and society.
