Benue APC Begins Sale, Screening of Assembly Nomination Forms

The All Progressives Congress in Benue State has commenced the sale and screening of nomination and expression of interest forms for aspirants seeking seats in the State House of Assembly.

The exercise, which kicked off at the party secretariat in Makurdi, signals the official start of preparations for the APC primaries in the state.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the State Chairman, Benjamin Omale, urged aspirants to strictly adhere to the party’s constitution and electoral guidelines.

In a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Benedict Yawe, the party assured all contestants of a fair and transparent process, while wishing them success in the exercise.

Earlier, the State Organising Secretary, James Ornguga, informed aspirants that payments must be made directly into the party’s national secretariat account. He also stated that all contestants are required to clear four years of party dues, alongside other financial obligations at the state level, before qualifying to contest.
