A former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Gwarzo, has officially resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a resignation letter addressed to the party’s chairman in Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State, he stated that his decision takes immediate effect.
Gwarzo explained that his exit was influenced by recent political developments and the need to reassess his position in line with his broader political ambitions.
He noted that the decision followed careful reflection and extensive consultations with his political allies, supporters, and stakeholders across the state.
According to him, the changing political landscape has made it necessary for him to pursue a new direction.
